Coniac Cottage, North Creake
Beautiful North Norfolk Cottage to Let
|
Coniac (an olde English spelling of Cognac) Cottage is in the charming and tiny Norfolk village of North Creake and is approximately 5/6 miles from the wonderful North Norfolk coastline. North Creake has a great pub, The Jolly Farmers, a post office, a 13th century church, the ruins of an Augustinian abbey and a small collection of galleries and shops/cafe at Creake Abbey galleries on the very edge of the village. Perfect for a holiday! North Creake is close to Burnham Market, one of the prettiest villages in Norfolk which has pubs/restaurants, butchers, delicatessen and all manner of small retailers. For a larger selection of shops and a weekly (Thursday) market Fakenham is only 7 miles to the south. There is plenty to see and do within a short distance. The countryside is beautiful and walking and cycling are probably the best way to see the surroundings. There are numerous pubs within a few miles and easily within reach are the magnificent buildings of Royal Sandringham, Holkham Hall and Houghton Hall & Gardens; bird reserves of Titchwell and Cley; ruins of Castle Rising and Creake Abbey; Nelsons birthplace; as well as Holkham and Brancaster beaches; The Thursford Collection; golf courses and seaside resorts for relaxation, sailing, shopping and walking.
